GM, Decision Analysis, Chevron Mike is the co-developer of the innovative Minimum Functional Objectives (MFO) approach to DA/DQ. MFO has been adopted as Chevron’s primary approach to DA/DQ. One of the key aspects of MFO is developing a quality frame by clarifying essential objectives of the opportunity or problem.

About this speaker
Mike received his BSc. in Geophysical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. Mike has extensive energy industry experience including research, data acquisition, data processing and interpretation for energy exploration and development.
Mike joined Chevron in 2006 as a Decision Analysis Advisor and has held Decision Analysis/Decision Quality (DA/DQ) technical and leadership positions supporting teams and decision makers throughout Chevron. He assumed his current role in October 2020.
